“The body is like a piano, and happiness is like music. It is mandatory that the instrument be in good order to get sweet music” quoted Henry Ward Beecher. But what are we doing? During our youth we run behind wealth neglecting our health and later we run behind health spending all the wealth. Just give it a thought! Don’t you think spending half an hour daily for exercise is much better than spending your whole day in hospital later? This not only avoids a lot of health issues but enhances the overall quality of your life by making your mind more tranquil and composed. Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation are proven ways to find this calmness. Bhastrika Pranayama is one of the powerful Pranayama breathing technique that ensures healthy body and calm mind. This Bhastrika Pranayama benefits majorly in keeping the person physically and mentally strong if practiced regularly.

This was used for blowing air into the fire (fan fire) in ancient days. In Bhastrika Pranayama since our lungs move very similar to bellows, this Pranayama technique is also called as ‘bellows breath’.
