“Mano Javam Maaruta Tulya Vegam
Jitendriyam Buddhi Mataam Varissttha,
Vaata Atmajam Vaanara Yuutha Mukhyam
Shri Rama Duutam Sharannam Prapadye ”
Meaning: I take shelter in the Hanuman who is fast as wind and swift at mind, who is the master of all senses and respect for wisdom, learning, and intelligence, who is the son of God Wind and the chief of monkeys. I take refuge of the messenger of Lord Rama.
3. The Saraswati Mantra: Gives Intelligence and Knowledge
Mantra:
“Ya Kundendu Tusharahara Dhavala Ya Shubhra Vastravrita
Ya Veena Varadanda Manditakara Ya Shveta Padmasana
Ya Brahmachyuta Shankara Prabhritibihi Devaih Sada Pujita
Sa Mam Pattu Saravatee Bhagavatee Nihshesha Jadyapaha”
Meaning: She is pure like jasmine with the coolness of moon and snow. She shines like the garland of pearls and wears white garments. She has Veena in her hands and is the giver of boons. She is seated in white lotus and adored by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv and other gods too. Goddess Saraswati, please protect me.
4. Vishnu Mantra: Makes an Ideal Person
This mantra is a prayer to Lord Vishnu who is the lord of all the lokas and removes all fears.
Mantra:
“Shaanta Aakaaram Bhujaga Shayanam Padma Naabham Sura Isham
Vishva Aadhaaram Gagana Sadrsham Megha Varnna Shubha Anggam,
Lakshmi Kaantam Kamala Nayanam Yogibhir Dhyaana Gamyam
Vande Vissnnum Bhava Bhaya Haram Sarva Loka Eka Naatham”
Meaning: Lord Vishnu has a serene appearance and he rests on a serpent. He is the Lord of all devas and has a lotus on his navel. He is the husband of Goddess Lakshmi and he has a holy and beautiful body. Lord Vishnu is attainable by meditation and removes all fears.
