Since time immemorial people have attributed a variety of things to the presence of moles and other bodily markers and birthmarks. For example, some cultures see birthmarks as evidence of an injury in the past life which eventually resulted in the death of the individual and did you know that in the middle ages, a test for witchcraft in women was to inspect them for moles on their skin? The study and meaning of moles vary to great extents around the world, but we’ve managed to identify a few similarities among most traditions in this post.
Especially a mole present around the groin area was deemed especially condemning. While we as a culture have moved away from such extreme superstition, different cultures continue to place significance in moles meaning for different types of moles. Mole beneath the eyebrow (Discordance in family relations)
This is indicative of a discordance in family relations, which is a source of both poor mental and physical health.
Mole on the head (Auspicious and Lucky)
This is considered especially auspicious and lucky. If the mole is located on the right side of the head then it is indicative of success and great leadership skills. However, if it’s green or red it’s even luckier, that indicated the propensity to be a great minister or even a President, either of a society or a business, with the ability to lead people to positive change.
Alternatively, having a mole on the left side of the head is indicative of Spirituality. The person might be interested in literature and the arts, however, he or she will never marry or have enough money.
Forehead (Vast riches, popularity & fame)
The presence of a mole on the right side of a wide forehead is indicative of vast riches and popularity, and fame in society. Not only that, the individual will also be a true spiritual devotee. However, a mole on the left side of a narrow head represents selfishness and ill repute.
On the temple (Great prosperity & wisdom)
Again, the right side is indicative of great prosperity and wisdom in a person, whereas the left is indicative of foolishness which will eventually cause financial squandering and debt.

Ears (Luxuries & Wealth through inheritance or marriage)
While the presence of a mole anywhere on your ear is indicative of luxuries and riches, it’s presence at the back of your ear means you would come by it through a rich marital arrangement, with a spouse from a high family.
A mole on either ear would also indicate a certain reckless streak. In either cases however, there is a danger of death by water.
Nose (Meanings vary based on positions)
Meaning of moles around the nose are variegated. On the tip indicates a quick temper but strong sense of self-worth. Right side indicates achievement of easy money. Left indicates poor results in life goals and a mole on the centre of the nose is considered to be especially unlucky, not least because of its unaesthetic positioning.

Cheek (Athletic with a brave heart)
Moles on the cheek, in general indicate an athletic person with a brave heart. A mole on the right-hand side means the person is family oriented and is caring whereas one on left side suggests the person is arrogant and reserved.
